Saw Walter and Don in HAC camp and saw HAC march past on their way to the front.
Wrote Walter.
Walter had joined the HAC in 1915 as a Lance Serjeant. he was in the 2nd battalion which embarked for France on 1 October 1916. So Louis is seeing Walter only 3 days after Walter arrived in France and as he marches off to the front.
