They & I was a 1905 book by Jerome K Jerome, No 5 John Street was written by Richard Whiteing in 1899. Gene Stratton Porter an American novelist wrote Girl of the Limberlost in 1909 and The Harvester in 1911. Maud Diver was a British writer born in British India who later lived in India and Ceylon. She is known for her positive views (relative to the time) on the ability of mixed marriages to bring East and West together. The Great Amulet was written in 1908.
