'At Company orders re Commission. Saw Capt. Seymour.'
Capt Seymour must have been recently promoted as he was a Lieutenant at the time the Guards Brigade was formed. Little information is available about Captain Seymour. He appears to have survived the War as his name appears in the Medal Rolls compiled after the end of the War.
