Have now been six weeks in various hospitals.
Went on board hospital ship Carisbrooke Castle at 10.30 AM. Splendid weather. Sailed from Havre at midnight.
Louis 's frustration is clear but thankfully short-lived as he finally sails for home on 2 November. This was probably the last time Louis set foot in France.
