13 and 14 December 1916

Fog every day at present.
Wrote Beath.
Saw Leslie Henson in Theodore &Co. at the Gaiety.

Henson was a famous English comedian and actor who worked in music hall and later, in silent films and then variety. When he appeared at The Gaiety in Theodore &Co in 1916 it followed from a production of Tonight's The Night that had opened in Broadway with Henson and then transferred to The Gaiety.

The Gaiety itself ceased  as a theatre in 1939 and was demolished in 1956.
