In Cowes.
Went to Netley but did not see ear specialist. Got back to Osborne at 7.45.
Netley refers to the Royal Victoria Hospital just outside Southampton , that was built on the orders of Queen Victoria in the 1860s. Again, illustrations show it to be a grand building , that has sadly not survived. In the war it was used as a hospital for wounded soldiers.
